Call for papers
The journal opens a call for works for the next issue (Vol. 4 No. 7), whose theme will be "No more images: the saturation of the gaze in late capitalism".
Antagonica. Journal of Research and Social Criticism deals with science, thought, and social criticism as problems of analysis that affect all areas of the humanities and social sciences. We publish original research articles and essays, theoretical or methodological debates, as well as translations and interviews, concerning a central thematic axis. The latter is defined based on the most pressing political and social problems.
The journal was born in the heat of the events that marked the political, social, and cultural history of 2019, becoming a unique space for interdisciplinary and reflective dialogue, essential for the Latin American region and the Global South.
Conceived as a space for the production of a plural knowledge and critique,
This issue of Antagonica is dedicated to thinking about speciesism as a central problem of contemporary social critique.
